Jammu, Nov 22: Ajay Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) IRP 1st Bn
Reasi has died of COVID-19. He was 53.
Sources said Sharma son of Late Brahm Sawroop Lakhanpal had a Covid-19 infection and was shifted to the Government Medical College Jammu. He was there for many days.
He tested negative Posthumously, said hospital sources. A resident of Reasi, Sharma is survived by two sons, daughter, wife and mother.
According to the family, the cremation will take place at Mukti Dham Ghat, Baradari, Reasi at 3:30 PM today.
