Murder Case solved within 24 hours by Jammu Police

Jammu, Sep 27: An Advocate Karan Sharma from Akhnoor reported to Police that he engaged one Mohan Kumar from Bihar for whitewash and painting work at his home who informed him that one of his labourer namely Loha Singh (UP) was murdered by another labourer namely Tarlochan Singh (Kujwani Jammu) at their residence where they were staying temporarily.

He alleged that Mohan Kumar also told him that on the intervening night of 26/27-09-2020, he went to his residence after late hours of working and found that his labourer was murdered by another labourer. In this regard, a case FIR NO. 160/2020 U/S 302 IPC was registered in P/S Akhnoor.

As the death of the deceased occurred in suspicious circumstances and in order to ascertain the actual cause of death, a special police team headed by Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar SHO Akhnoor was formed. The team visited and inspected the spot very minutely, police team utilized all means of manual and technical help and services of FSL team, crime Photographer, Videographer. After strenuous effort and by picking up the leads, accused namely Tarlochan Singh alias Tillu R/o Deep Nagar Kunjwani was arrested who confessed the crime and on his disclosure weapon of the offence was also recovered.

Post-Mortem of the deceased got conducted through a board of doctors. After completion of all legal formalities dead body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites
