Ram Navami is celebrated by the minority Hindu population of Kashmir and in many states of the country by taking out a religious procession which translates as ‘Shobha Yatra.’

Amidst the deployment of security forces, the Shobha Yatra started from Habba Kadal’s ISKCON temple at 11:00am and culminated again at ISKCON Habba Kadal and traversed through Habbakadal, Tankipora, Lal Chowk areas of the summer capital of the UT.
