BSF Result 2020 for GD Constable to Release Today

Nov 24: BSF Result 2020 for GD Constable Border Security Force (BSF) is going to release the result of written exam for the post of GD Constable (Male & Female) today i.e. on 24 November 2020, as per BSF Exam Notice.

BSF Constable Result will be uploaded on its websites – bsf.nic.in or bsf.gov.in and official website of Ftr HQ BSF Jammu i.e. www.jmu.bsf.gov.in. The result shall also be released at all recruitment centres under Jammu Ftr HQ BSF Jammu and Ftr HQ BSF Kashmir. The candidates who will qualify in the exam shall be called for Medical Exam Test (MET).

The candidates will be medically examined in terms of guidelines for recruitment medical examinations in CAPFs and AR issues vide MHA UO No. A-VI-1/2014/Rectt(SBB) dated 20/05/2015. The minimum distant vision of the candidates should be 6/6 and 6/9 both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.

BSF Constable Exam 2020 was conducted on 08 November 2020 from 11 AM to 1 PM at all recruitment centres. The candidates who had declared qualified in PST/PET & documentation appeared in the exam. The written test was initially scheduled on 12 April 2020 was postponed due to the lockdown and again scheduled on 18 October 2020 at 13 recruitment centres of Jammu and Kashmir Region and Ladakh.

The exam was then cancelled due to some administrative reasons and finally held on 08 November 2020. BSF had published the recruitment notification to fill 1356 vacancies for Constable (GD) Posts in BSF & CISF in the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh divisions in the month of November 2019. Out of total, 618 vacancies are reserved for BSF and 566 Vacancies are reserved for CISF.
