Jammu, Nov 5: Jammu and Kashmir Police today, booked accused Nazakat Ali Khatana S/o Mohd Sharief R/o Doda Basti Belicharana Jammu under Public Safety Act and the said accused has been kept under detention in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
“It is pertinent to mention that accused is a notorious criminal and a desperate character, and following FIRs were lodged against him in different cases,” read the police statement.

On this detention, warrant was issued by DM Jammu under section 8(1)(a) JK Public Safety Act, 1978. Finally detention warrant got executed today and accused has been shifted to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu. The detention warrant was executed by SHO P/S Satwari Inspr Deepak Jasrotia.
