Reshuffle in Police

JAMMU, Mar 19: After having reshuffled administration across Jammu and Kashmir; the government of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ordered a massive reshuffle in the police department.
SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil has been replaced with Chandan Kohli, IPS who was SP Rajouri. Both have been transferred within 13 months of their postings as SSP Jammu and SSP Rajouri respectively. Patil has been ordered to report to the PHQ and await further posting orders. Kohli was SSP Pulwama till February 2020 when he transferred and posted as SSP Rajouri.
SSP Srinagar Dr. Haseeb Mughal has been replaced with Sandeep Choudhary, IPS, who was SSP Anantnag. Mughal has been asked to wait in PHQ for further posting. This is probably for the first time in last 7 years, Mughal has been asked to wait in PHQ for further posting. Imtiyaz Hussain Mir, SSP Security, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as SP Anantnag vice Sandeep Choudhary, IPS.
Imtiyaz loves tweeting and his tweets are often retweeted by Journalists and top officials besides making headlines in the national dailies. Rayees Mohammad Bhat, IPS, AIR (P&T), PHQ has been transferred and posted as SSP Baramulla vice Abdul Qayoom. Dr. Vinod Kumar, IPS, awaiting orders, is posted as SSP Poonch vice Ramesh Kumar Angral.
S.P. North Jammu P.D. Nitya has been transferred and posted as SP Ramban vice Haseeb-ur-Rehman. Shailendra Singh, SSP Crime, Jammu has been transferred and posted as SP Reasi vice Rashmi Wazir. Ramesh Chander Kotwal, SP APCR Jammu has been transferred and posted as SP Kathua vice Shailendra Mishra, IPS. Shafqat Hussain, SP Railways, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as SP, Kishtwar vice Harmeet Singh. Sheema Nabi Qasba, IPS, SP East, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SP Rajouri vice Chandan Kohli, IPS.
Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravatlhy, IPS, SP Hnndwara has been transferred and posted as SP Kupwara vice Ambarkar Shriram Dinkar, IPS. Sudhanshu Verma, IPS, SP Hazratbal, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SP Sopore vice Javid Iqbal. Sandeep Gupta, IPS, SP North, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as SP Handwara vice Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS. Tanushree, IPS has been posted as SP East, Srinagar vice Sheema Nabi Qasba, IPS.
Javid Iqbal Matoo, AIG (Buildings) PHQ shall hold the additional charge of the post of AtG (P&T) PHQ.Suhail Munawar Mir, SSP CID SB Kashmir has been transferred and posted as SP Ganderbal vice Khalil Ahmad Poswal. Sheikh Zulfikar Azad, SP Security, I&K shall hold the additional charge of SSP Security, Kashmir. Tahir Saleem Khan, SP Awantipora has been transferred and posted as SP Budgam vice Amod Nagpure, IPS.
Mohammed Zaid, CO IR-9″ Bn has been transferred and posted as SP, Bandipora vice Rahul Malik, IPS. Mohammed Yousuf, Addl SP, Kulgam is transferred and posted as SP Awantipora vice Tahir Saleem Khan. Paramvir Singh, awaiting orders has been posted as Additional Secretary (Technical) on deputation to Road Safety Council vice R.K. Irshad Hussain Rather, SO to DII, CKR Srinagar is transferred and posted as SP Hazratbal Srinagar vice Sudhanshu Verma, IPS. Shailendra Mishra IPS, Rahul Malik, IPS, Shridhar Patil, IPS, Ambarkar Shriram Dinkar, IPS, Amod Nagpure, IPS, Dr. Mohd. Haseeb Mughal, Haseeb ur-Rehman, Abdul Qayoom, Rashmi Wazir, Ramesh Kumar Angral, Harmeet Singh, Javid Iqbal and Khalil Ahmad Poswal shall report to the PHQ and await further posting orders.
