JAMMU, Nov 7: Woman leader of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit was arrested while staging a protest against the meeting of the People Alliance of Gupkar Declaration near the residence of former Chief Minister and NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah.
Led by Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena, J&K unit, dozens of Shiv Sainiks gathered near the residence of Dr Farooq Abdullah at Bathindi and raised against the blatant Alliance for holding a meeting in Jammu with a view to make befool with its old tactics.
Jammu and Kashmir Police deployed outside the residence of Farooq Abdullah immediately swung into action and arrested the three Woman leader including Meenakshi Chibber (president Mehila wing).
Talking to reporters, Sahni termed this political amalgamation of PAGD as faction of Pakistani puppets which can go to any extent for ensuring petty political gain.
Taking a dig at the Jammu and Kashmir administration and BJP leaders, Sahni said that while giving police protection to the country and those making anti-Tricolor statements, their activities are being allowed to continue in Jammu.
Sahni said that due to the soft attitude of the Central Government regarding this agenda, it is felt that once again bypassing Jammu, there are conspiracies to cook some Khichdi with Kashmiri leaders behind the scenes.
Expressing resentment over mainstream leader of Valley for disrespecting Tricolour and other resolves made in the last meeting of People’s Alliance, Sahni made it clear that Shiv Sena will oppose tooth and nail all such seditious acts proposed by those entities which are dying to promote separatism in the Valley under the guise of political discourse of mainstream parties.
Sahni emphasised “What is being hatched under Gupkar deal will never see the light of the day as all the parties under the umbrella of this unholy alliance had been exposed number of times and people in Valley and elsewhere in JK UT are in no mood to listen to lies of NC, PDP and others in the coterie and put at stake their better future once again.”
He said that any conspiracy to bypass Jammu will not be allowed to succeed.
On this Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Working President Ashwani Gupta, Secretary Raj Singh, Joint Secretary Raju Salaria, Vijay Manwal , Neelam Jamwal , Sanjeev Soodan, Geeta Rani, Dimple , Neelam Devi , Laba Singh , Dimple and many others were present.
