WHAT ARE MADRASAS?
Madrsas are the religious institutes where children from all socio-economic classes are provided with the valuable knowledge of Islam (Quran, Sunnah, Hadees, Shariya) along with the knowledge of Arabic language, Arabic grammar, Persian, Urdu literature and moral education. Most of these Masdaras also impart basics of modern education like Mathematics, English and Science to the students.
WHY WE NEED MADRASAS?
Madrasas are the strong pillars of Islam. They are not only hub of Islamic education but also play a vital role in preserving the Islamic tradition, culture and literature. They also play an important role in protecting the identity of Muslim world. They hold a key role in spreading the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). The students of Madrasaha as part time job teach in various Makaatib where school going children are taught fundamentals of Islam.
Many of us do not know the fact that after completing Molvi fazil from any registered Madrasa, one can join university for post graduate courses and for further studies. These Madrsas are also job providers for large number of people
WHY THEY NEED US?
Most of the Madrasas offer free education and boarding to the students and for some reasons, almost all the students in these Madrasas are from economically backward class, so they have to bear the expenses of education and other accommodation of these students
As we know whole world is struggling to cope up with economic loss due to current pandemic Covid-19, Madrasas are also badly affected due to the said cause, the annul working of these institutions are wholly dependent upon the public donations which they collect from the people mostly during the Holy Month of Ramzan. Due to the ongoing lockdown, the movement of representatives of these institutions is restricted, due to which they cannot reach the people for collection of donations.
So, you are requested to give your Imdad, Sadkaat, Zakaat to these institutions either personally or by transferring your donation to their respective bank accounts and be a milestone to the Pillars of Islam.
