Jammu, Jan 18: Members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad protested against Cluster University for forcing a Covid-19 infected student to reach the examination centre and take the examination.
The protesting students also demanded the dismissal of the controller of Cluster University.
Protestors in the Science College said that the attitude of the university was astonishing. Even at the request of the student’s family, the controller forced the student to take the examination in the examination centre itself.
In a conversation with The Straight Line, a protesting member of ABVP said, “If the controller wanted, then the student’s examination could be taken online or tested once she was healthy. But the controller did not do so, which shows his obstinate attitude.”
They also said that this posed a risk of infection for other students who came to take the examination.
At the same time, they said that at this time, almost all the university and college managements had postponed their examinations, but the cluster university did not do so.
Therefore, the protestors appealed that the controller should be sacked immediately, and the Lieutenant Governor should take immediate action on it.
